Digital Families Community Event

By Hampton NH PTA (other events)

Thursday, March 21 2019 6:00 PM 8:30 PM EDT

ABOUT ABOUT

The purpose of this event is to provide an interactive night where families learn about digital safety through hands on learning activities.

  • Give families a safe space to share successes and concerns about parenting in a digital world.

  • Share best practices for parenting in a digital age and tools to foster parentchild interaction.

  • Empower parents and families with resources and research to equip them to be safer online.

We have a team of people including police offers, staff members from Lane Library, school IT employees, school guidance counselors, teen media experts and parents eager to join us for this night.

We encourage you to come with your 2nd grader or older to learn how to help guide your family through this crazy digital world.

The Hampton PTA will be providing dinner for all that attend.  If you want to come just as an adult to learn prior to talking with your child we will be providing childcare for Pre-K and older students.  There will be fun activities for them to play along with pizza and snacks for them.

Doors will open at 6pm with dinner serviced first and the event will start at 6:30pm.
